should the law prohibit abortion?…
Nowadays people, especially the youth, cease to appreciate life values, they treat the birth of a child with irresponsible levity. That is why the question of prohibition of the abortion is so important to solve today. In my opinion, the law should forbid the abortion, because it reduces the chance of repetitive pregnancy, strikes psychological blow to the mother, moreover, this law will make people be more serious to the sexual relations. The 1st reason women should avoid abortion is many physical problems, caused by this surgical intervention. It reduces the chance of repetitive pregnancy by aftereffects of the operation, because everything that is made against the nature has many negative consequences. The next reason is mental distress mother has after the loss of her child, because abortion is equal to the serious stress, shock. And the last, not less important reason is that this law will make people be more serious to the sexual relations, some will think before coming into the sexual contact, some will reflect about the contraception. You see abortion negatively influences the mental condition of the woman, harms her health, discourage the serious attitude to the sexual relations, that is why the law should forbid the abortion.

PSYOPS: getting deeper understanding.
PSYOPS - is the thing that is in my mind for a couple of days. PSYOPS, or the psychological operations… what is it? I’ll try to explain you what it is all about. PSYOPS are the planned actions of military or police forces, directed at enemy in order to influence one’s mind in the way the originator wants. the PSYOPS can have different target population: governments, organizations, groups, individuals, but the goal is always one: to affect people’s minds, made them behave the way that could help in achieving some military or political objectives. You may be interested what reason made me think about this phenomenon – it is connection of the PSYOPS with the Mass Media. So, here are some sources that can help us in understanding of how the Mass Media can be the tool for PSYOPS.

the song of the rebellious…
sobbing out every word…
Weak again…
the Presentations of My Colleagues.
This week, and the one before, My Colleagues were making the Presentations on the New Information Technologies Issues, their use, connection with Journalism and many other things like that. Unfortunately, I was not able to attend all the Presentations of My Colleagues, but, and I am glad it is so, I was present on Aidar’s Group Presentation, and the Aibek’s one. These two projects made me think a great research work was done by the guys, they gathered not only just relevant Information, but very clear, and interesting as well. Thanks to all the Guys. It is good everyone participated and took part in creation of something useful for the Community, would it be on-line one, or just our Group of NIT, ‘cause for me personally, I got many interesting details on information concerning the use of NIT I didn’t know about before. I noticed, that some of the guys did really tried to do their best. Of course, as in any Projects and Presentations, there were some things the students could do better, including ourselves: the Presenters should be more confident, speak louder, use the body language… hence, be more convincing. Hope, we will get used to make the Public Presentations better with time.By the Way, this link is to our Project Work On-line. It is about the Citizen Journalism in
Kazakhstan. Hope u will like it and find some useful Info… =)

The Review of the NIT Concepts Studying: some thoughts on what it is and what for I am doing this …
The New Information Technologies with their Weblogs and Wikies, are they so necessary to exist, even to take place in the daily Life of the modern, educated and independent student? …
Definitely YES! This is what makes us, the NEXT Generation, open-minded, freespeaking, independent in thoughts and believes people!
In this Entry, I will speak out loud on what is the NIT for me personally. I’ve spoken earlier in one issue of My Blog on the use of the Weblogs and Wikies to the “consumers” of information in the i-net, but didn’t think a lot that time what are the merits and demerits of this all for me. I’ll try to do it now!
First of all, it gave me the ability to speak out loud. It was and it is the way to share not only My Feelings with people, who have the equal emotions, support Me, when I do nee this. By the way, it was the first time some of My Poems were put for the Mass to read, it was a great experience for me to hear and to read what others think about my Creativity. And the Feelings are not the only thing I can put on the Weblog. My personal Political Believes, or issues concerning attitudes to the particular events take place on My Home Page regularly. In addition, creating Weblogs is a great thing for all the starting Journalists, like Me.
The Weblog made me feel the real experience of creating the articles on Current Affairs, moreover, it helped Me to get the deeper understanding on what is the Citizen Journalism, which is very important for My Future Activity.
To conclude, the NIT became the essential part of Mine, hence, My Life will be inferior without them…

“Control Room”: what the Film made me think about…
“Wake up, Arabs!” Samir Khader, Al Jazeera senior producer.
The “Control Room” Film made a really strong impression on me. After watching the Film of Jehane Noujaim, I’ve thought a lot of the Role of the Mass Media in the International Relations, it’s influence on the people’s minds, and it’s usage as the tool to deliver the true information to the Mass, and the unfair, unbalanced, one sided information as well. The watching of the Film confirmed the Idea we have been speaking about during our course that the Mass Media now is the strongest and the most powerful weapon authorities use to implement their foreign policies. I will start telling about the reasons why I did like the Film from the reasonableness of the script. The director of the Film thought over all the details of the script, put the order of the pictures and interviews logically right I think. One of the examples was the starting the Film from the showing the flying pigeons in the sky, a very symbolical act. I think it meant the Director had some Hope the Piece can still exist if the People would pay enough attention to prevent the Armed Conflicts and Wars. Another example, the suffering, poor people of
Iraq were shown on the screen, then the Bush’s draining off the stairway of the luxurious private plain was on the record, showing him so well-cared, self-sufficient and happy with the changes hi did to bring the “freedom” to
Iraq people. The Interview with Josh Rushing, a press officer from US Central Command, was also thought over very well. In actuality, Josh Rushing only gave a single forty minute interview for the documentary. But his speech was partly shown in the moments the Director thought would be more eligible. Another thing that made the “Control Room ” more impressive is the combination of the quiet, sometimes calming down moments with that ones that are really shocking, for example, the bombing pictures, which make you shudder every time and be more attentive to the events taking place on the screen. What I liked more about the Film is the representation of relations among the Journalists, who are shown to be very friendly to each other and rallied in the tough and dangerous struggle to stop the armed Conflict, replacing it with the wise choice of dialogues and negotiations. Because many people think a Journalist is the worker trying to benefit from writing about people’s suffer, or they are just the puppets in the hands of the Government. No, it is not, though, some cases still exist. And the bias, taking place in reports appears not because the Journalist is paid, or have another benefit from this, just because he cares and loves his people, and this partiality makes the Journalist be bias sometimes. Nevertheless, we all know the professional Journalist must be impartial. “Control Room” is the Film showing not only the great role of the Al Jazeera for the Arab Society, it tells the viewer the real situation in the forming the news stream, tells about the work and relations among the Journalist, takes us in the reality of the Mass Media World.

Crowdsourcing: what 4?…
The Surveillance Society… What does it mean?…
By Adam L. Penenberg
The question I ask above is rather controversial one. As all the people thinking about the merits and demerits of the The Surveillance Society, I can not say definetelly weather it is useful or not. And I am sure that all together we will not find the definition and solution to the current problem of people being not happy with existance of the survelliance Society, because people have different opinions on this question, and this depends on the position of the individual in the society. For example, the average citizen of the small city is not thinking a lot about being watched, as well as the puple or student, who don’t understand the importance of resposibility and security, they are not afraid to be caught on something comprometing, and even if they are, the information abuot such people is not much important: no thing to hide, no fear to be caught. The situation is vice versa with people, who are caring about the security and confidentiality, more often they are the people from Secret Survices, or Government, or some illegal Organizations – they do really care about not being watched.
so… this is My opinion on this issue =)

too late…
again, some poetry of mine:
Weblogs! Weblogs! Weblogs!
Thank U, NITs
For giving us the opportunity to be the active part of the society, for the opportunity to think out loud, to be heard and supported, the opportunity to get the understanding of what people think about particular issue, share their view or prove your own opinion. Creating the weblog and looking through the blogs of My Colleagues helped Me a lot in deeper understanding of the Concepts of the Online, Today Journalism, and U can imagine how important it is for me as for the future Journalist.
Thank U, Frederick Emrich
For teaching us what the NITs is. As U understood, it is interesting and useful for me, and this ‘makes me’ write more and more new entries, search others’ blogs. And what about other students, who are not willing to work… maybe they think the information they are interested in is not relevant or just not interesting for others, or, maybe, they are just low GPA Students, who are not writing properly not only on your lectures, they r indifferent. So… don’t pay attention on them. they r hopeless =) And about the ‘in class study’, I am satisfied with it. The result of our work is evidence: weblogs and related entries to the NITs, own Wikies. That is enough to prove our knowledge in this field =)
Back to Politics: Bush’s visit to Latin America
“Over the past two days, the President and I have had a… series of friendly and very productive meetings. That’s what the people of our respective countries expect. They expect people to work out differences in a constructive way. They expect leaders to seize opportunities for the benefit of our respective peoples. And the spirit is very strong to work together. I appreciate so very much the fact that during our meetings we reaffirmed the values of democracy and transparency and rule of law that guide both our countries. We discussed ways to make our nation safer, both nations safer, and both nations prosperous.” – President George W. Bush
Fiesta Americana
Mérido
Mérida, Mexico
March 14, 2007
According to the http://www.whitehouse.gov/infocus/latinamerica/, Bush’s 5 day trip to Latin America, from March8-14, engaging Brazil, Uruguay, Colombia, Guatemala, and
Mexico had some several main goals: Helping Democracies In The Western Hemisphere, developing the healthcare organizations, announcing new partnership for Latin American Youth To Help Thousands More Young People Improve Their English And Have The
Opportunity To Study In The
United States, and many others, like developing the local banks improvements, and affordable housing. From the 1st side, seems so the noble President of the
US decided to help the poor people of
Latin America, but is it really so pure as it seems? There are many things that proves the negative answers to this question. The 1st reason coming to my mind is the developing activity of the Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, who is the strong opponent of Bush’s politics, ‘the epitome of the common dislike for US foreign polices’. Chavez’ rising influence on the minds of the western hemisphere made Bush take him serious and the visit to the Latin America is the result of this. The
US is too weakened now to have any open conflicts, so such kind of “friend help” is a good decision to implant Latin America, implementing own policies. As for me, the main goals of the visit were to ‘bribe’ the citizens of the poor countries, and supersede Hugo Chavez. For example, Bush promoted ethanol cooperation in Brazil aimed at boosting the export market for the biofuel and reducing dependence on oil in the region, which could counteract Chavez’s spreading of his own petrodollars. Moreover, “For Bush, this is a matter of getting cheaper fuel and getting out of the mess in the
Middle East,” said Cristiana Coimbra, 35, a professional translator who wore a sticker that depicted Bush with a swastika. It is clear more and more people are getting dissatisfied with the Bush’s foreign policy, one of the main reasons to this is the war with
Iraq. So, there is no way for the President now then just showing himself from the best side, caring about and helping people, not being touched by the negligent toward the
Latin America of the last couple of years. It is obvious all the people protesting Bush’s visit to the
Latin America understand the real, true aims of the US President’s trip. People’s riots were held 1st of all to show the dissatisfaction with Bush’s foreign policy, and 2d to express their protest against implementing the US policies on their territory. “We don’t want Bush here!”, “Tell him to go home!”, but these are not the words that can stop Bush.

Overall qualities of NITs on example of the Weblog.
As I understood, in this entry I must write how My experience with the weblog suggests that weblogs might help people take advantage of the overall qualities of NITs. In My opinion, weblog (as well as the wiki) IS created to help people in forming the information stream, and it doesn’t have any disadventages as the New Information Technology, it was created to make the work of sharing information as simple as possible. Another question is the use of the NITs as the tool to spresd iformation, rather controversial one [I have My thoughts on it on this Blog]. So, My answer is that Weblog helps people to take advantage of the overall qualities of NITs.

adding the info 2 the wikies =)
I am ready to share My feelings and experience concerning the adds i’ve done to some wikies created by My Colleagues =)
it is as interesting as creating your own Wiki, but with one difference: the feeling of the responsibility is much more stronger
, ’cause you feel you can damage someone’s work, or the owner of the Wiki would not be glad to some changes… anyway, I’ve tried to be relevant, and did My best to change Wikies to the better ones.
All in all i’ve add some information to three Wikies. The 1st one was the creating of the new page in Anel’s MasterPiece: i’ve add the page containing the Gallery of different kinds of Cannabis =) , although, personally i am not for legalization of this thing, considering it as the drug, but it is another issue.
Then i visited iroxanai.wetpaint.com , conneced with the teens’ growing up, and added the new page on managing the teenager stress, hope it will be a helpful for the visitors =)
The last change I’ve done was adding information on www.fiefo.wetpaint.com(Aidar, Katya and Katya), where i’ve put some information about Pump It Up. I knew it would not be kind of new to Aidar, who is crazy about this, but it could be interesting for others.
So, that’s it =)
I hope the Owners of the Wikies will be glad someone is interested in the information they post, and say “thanks” to all, who have made any relevant significant changes

Experience in the creating of the wetpaint account =)
I strongly advice all the people who doesn’t have any wetpaint account yet to create one! This is not only useful activity, but interesting and funny as well! ![]()
Thanks to NIT we have opportunity to put, share the info we r interested in with people, as well as taking in this one we need!
Being guided by the home assignment, creating the wetpaint account, we could not even imagine, how interesting the work would be!
Our group consisted of 4 members: Nica, Temir, Ruslan, and Me. Fortunately, everyone of us is very responsible and creative personality, so the work was considered more like a work for pleasure, rather than for Good Grades =) (hope it will be okay with that =)
The collaborative work resulted not only in nice wetpaint account, it also united 4 people, due to the fact we used all the sources of communication: face to face, e-mail, sell phone connection.
Oh, by the way, one Community more in our busy World! =)
We didn’t think a lot about the context of the account, the idea of the creation the site about Cartoons was the most worth full Idea, so, enjoy the result on http://www.not4kids.wetpaint.com!
You r welcome to add the relevant Info! Thx!
